Keep Calm and Food Truck On

Let’s be honest: have you ever met a food truck you didn’t like? If you’re like us and love food served up hot-and-ready by some amazing chefs in some ridiculously tight kitchen quarters, you’ll want to check out our favorite food trucks in Prescott. Grab a napkin, because you’ll be drooling in no time.

Time for Lunch Mexican Grill

Look for the bright green food truck with a picture of their “Big Green Egg” grill on the side, and you’ve found Time for Lunch Mexican Grill. Dishing up tacos, burritos, and quesadillas with handmade tortillas and fresh salsas, Time for Lunch never skips on flavor. Have a large, hungry group? Try the Hungry Men Platter that is piled high with three kinds of tacos, two kinds of burritos, and a cheese quesadilla. Try the smoked Mahi quesatacos for a seafood option with a cabbage jalapeno salad or hearty quesadillas served with savory Pico de gallo, sour cream, and roasted salsa.

Gringo’s Taco Shop

Regularly parked on the northwest corner of Montezuma and Willis, Gringo’s Taco Shop is striving to create Prescott’s first food truck park. When they’re not working to create a total food truck destination location, Gringo’s Taco Shop is serving up everything Mexican food related. Whether you come for the fresh green fire-roasted salsa atop huevos rancheros, a crisp tostada, or a tinga de pollo gringo bowl, your taste buds will be pleased you did.

Outlaw Donuts, Inc.

Let's get one thing straight: Outlaw Donuts, Inc. isn’t just about donuts. Don’t get us wrong, you’ll want to get one of their raised donuts (think raspberry-filled bismark and glazed buttermilk bar cake), but you’ll also want to check out their savory side. You might not expect to find ribs, pulled pork and quesadillas at a donut food truck, but who are we to complain? P.S. If you’re feeling really wild and crazy try one of their cereal topped donuts. The Fruit Loops one is our current favorite.

Uncle’s Hawaiian Kitchen

Take a trip to the big island, all while staying in Prescott. Uncle’s Hawaiian Kitchen brings some aloha spirit to you by dishing up Hawaiian dishes like kalua pig, Hawaiian Kalbi ribs, and North Shore garlic shrimp. Be sure to try the ocean fresh poke bowls (for all of you wondering it’s pronounced “poh-KAY) which are filled with fresh ahi tuna – up to you if you’re ordering it spicy. If you still have room, finish your meal with a coconut macaroon or coconut bread pudding.

Hungry Badger Adventure

True The Hungry Badger Adventure fans know that their rotating menu is guaranteed to impress all palates. Their diverse menu ranges from crab stuffed avocados to mushroom and artichoke quesadillas to prime burgers, and more! Don’t forget to check out their taco menu, and make sure to ask for some extra mango salsa. While they have their everyday location, they also cater events too – so the next time you want your crowd to be wowed, give them a call.
